Outstanding Performance Awards
were presented to Jane Bowman Jenkins of Little Theatre of Watertown for her portrayal of Dora Miller in Those Crazy ladies by Pat Cook, Stanley Michael Janczak of WCBS Players for his portrayal of Eric in Peace in Our Time, and Dave Woodworthand Reuben Tapp for their performances as Jack Lawson and Henry Brown in Limelight Productions’ Race.
The J Richard Mahlstedt Directing Award
was awarded to Cynthia Appleton for Peace in Our Time. This award honors the memory and contributions of TANYS Past President Richard Mahlstedt. It is given at the discretion of the TANYS Festival Adjudicators.
The Sherman C. Ward, Jr. Distinguished Volunteer Award
was presented to Eleanor Stearns of Geneva Theatre Guild. This award is given to an individual above the age of 65 who has faithfully provided significant and valuable service to community theatre for over 25 years.
The Fredric Blumberg Distinguished Volunteer Award
was presented to Michael Tefft and Colleen Law-Tefft of Sherburne Music Theatre Society. Given to an individual under 65 who has faithfully provided significant and valuable service to community theatre for 15 years or more.
